Dan Sims, and David Mannion, co-owners of Sims Spinners, began their lifelong friendship in grade school. It all started off by hanging out, doing what young kids do by getting into trouble, and catching fish. The idea to design and create in-line spinners happened many years ago in a basement located in Chicago's southwest suburbs.

After long hours of collaborating on ideas by wading rivers and fishing lakes throughout the upper Midwest, they decided in 2010 to begin a business in the fishing industry. This business is to create quality, durable, affordable, custom, and innovative hand-made inline spinners. Sims Spinners are proven winners, and multi-species weapons of choice for all freshwater gamefish from Bass, Pike, Trout, Salmon, Muskies, and Panfish; And as shocking as it sounds, even Carp and Catfish too.
